About Us

CouncilBluffsMarijuana.clinic — Iowa Medical Cannabidiol for Council Bluffs

Built for Council Bluffs

Council Bluffs is the seat of Pottawattamie County and the largest city in southwest Iowa — a community of more than 62,000 residents on the east bank of the Missouri River, across from Omaha, Nebraska, at the crossroads of Interstates 80 and 29. CouncilBluffsMarijuana.clinic is an online directory and telehealth scheduling platform connecting Council Bluffs residents with Iowa-licensed providers for Medical Cannabidiol Program certifications.

We are not a medical practice, dispensary, or pharmacy. We connect patients with qualified Iowa-licensed providers and guide them through Iowa's Medical Cannabidiol Program certification and application process — from Downtown Council Bluffs and Historic Broadway to Bayliss Park, the west side, and every Council Bluffs neighborhood.

How We Operate

Iowa-Licensed Providers

Every provider on our platform holds an active Iowa license and is qualified to complete the Healthcare Practitioner Certification Form required by Iowa HHS for the Medical Cannabidiol Program.

HIPAA Protected

All telehealth appointments are conducted on HIPAA-compliant platforms. Council Bluffs patients' health information is handled with complete confidentiality throughout the process.

Iowa HHS-Compliant

Every certification follows Iowa HHS requirements under Iowa Code Chapter 124E. The $100 registration fee is paid directly to Iowa HHS through the Iowa HHS patient registration portal — not to this platform.

How Iowa's Program Works

Iowa's Medical Cannabidiol Program, governed by Iowa Code Chapter 124E and administered by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, provides qualifying Iowa residents with access to low-THC medical cannabidiol products. A Council Bluffs patient books a real-time video visit with an Iowa-licensed provider through this platform. The provider evaluates the patient's medical history against Iowa's qualifying conditions. If a qualifying condition applies, the provider completes and signs the Healthcare Practitioner Certification Form. The patient then applies through the Iowa HHS patient registration portal, submitting the signed form, valid Iowa ID, and a digital photo, along with the $100 registration fee paid directly to Iowa HHS. Iowa HHS issues the Medical Cannabidiol Registration Card upon approval.

Iowa's Program Limitations

Council Bluffs patients should understand Iowa's program clearly: medical cannabidiol products are limited to oils, tinctures, capsules, and topicals. Smoking is prohibited under Iowa Code §124E.17. The standard purchase limit is 4.5 grams of total THC per 90-day period. Iowa's five licensed dispensaries collectively serve the entire state. The registration card must be renewed annually. We believe in full transparency about these limitations so Council Bluffs patients can make an informed decision before booking.
